Chartered Financial Planning firm, LIFT-Financial, are celebrating a ‘double win’, achieving Gold Standard in Financial Planning and being recognised by the Personal Finance Society as the Chartered Financial Planning Firm of the Year for the second time in 4 years.
Altrincham based LIFT-Financial were recently honoured at a special Gold Standard Awards ceremony at the House of Commons. The Gold Standard Awards have been supporting higher standards in financial services in the UK for the past 14 years. Just six financial planning firms nationwide met the level required this year.
Following this success, the team have gone on to achieve more recognition of their professional excellence at the Personal Finance Society Awards Dinner held at held at Wembley Stadium hosted by celebrity comic, Rory Bremner. The firm received the highest accolade – the Chartered Financial Planning Firm of the Year.
Set up in 2007 with a team of 8, LIFT-Financial now have 75 staff across three offices, Altrincham, London and Edinburgh and a turnover of £3.8m (in 2015).
Commenting on the double win, Joel Adams, co-Founder of LIFT-Financial said, “These awards are a real endorsement of the way we do things at LIFT- Financial. We’ve worked hard to instil Chartered values throughout the business and it’s this approach, together with investment in the professional development of the team, that’s behind our success”
Deborah Benn, Chair of the Judging Panel on the Gold Awards added, “Many congratulations on passing what has been a very stringent year in terms of judging. A common thread of those that have achieved Gold Standard status is the clarity of their proposition and, importantly, how processes and services are developed and adapted to fit clients’ needs rather than shoehorning clients into inflexible structures.”
Personal Finance Society Chief Executive, Keith Richards went on to say, “The excellence displayed by all award winners reflected the heightened level of expertise and professionalism within the Society’s membership. “This year we received more submissions to our practitioner awards than ever before and this reflects both the prestige that our annual awards now hold, as well as the heightened level of professionalism and dedication that has been evolving within our profession.”
