Pannone leads on waste deal

PANNONE, the Manchester-based law firm, has advised longstanding client Tradebe on its acquisition of specialist clinical waste firm Britcare.

Yorkshire and Birmingham-based Britcare provides collection disposal services for clinical waste through a unique processing technology and a range of specialist vehicles.

Britcare has a turnover in excess of £3.5m and has 32 employees.  With a workforce of more than 1,000 and a turnover of €200m, Tradebe operates internationally both in Europe and North America.

Following the acquisition Tradebe UK, which has its headquarters at Deeside, Flintshire, now has 10 sites offering a comprehensive range of recycling options for the disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

Philip Treanor, head of corporate finance at Pannone, said: “We have advised Tradebe UK for a number of years as they have continued to expand their operations across the UK and internationally.

“The latest acquisition is an excellent fit, both in terms of the locations and technologies that this brings to the Tradebe group.”
