WILMSLOW-based Adam Recruitment has won ‘Best Regional Recruitment Agency of the Year’ in the national Marketing & Advertising Recruitment Awards (MARA) 2010.
The company was also shortlisted in a further three award categories at the event in London.
Adam Recruitment was selected from a field of 400 agencies as one of the 10 winners, fending off competition from agencies in 12 regions across the UK.

MERSEYSIDE’S five specialist hospitals have appointed public relations consultancy Bell Pottinger to showcase the region as the specialist healthcare capital of the UK.
Alder Hey Children’s, Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology, Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, Liverpool Women’s and The Walton Centre offer the highest concentration of dedicated specialist patient care in the country, said Bell Pottinger which is positioning them as ‘The Famous Five’.
Extensive coverage, including a week-long strand on BBC Radio Merseyside’s breakfast show and features on both BBC North West Tonight and Granada Reports have already been secured.
Mel Pickup, chief executive of The Walton Centre and spokesperson for the hospitals said: “All the hospitals feel it is important that people living on Merseyside know about the expertise that is on their doorstep.”

MANCHESTER public relations agency Mason Williams is celebrating its 25th birthday with a 25% cut in new client fees.
It is one of a number of initiatives based around the theme of 25.
Others include a donation of 2.5% of profits to charity, an extra 25 days of holiday for one member of staff and a 25-metre abseil.
Joint managing directors John Williams and Rita Rowe said that the initiatives came from an agency-wide desire to mark the silver anniversary with commitments to staff, clients and their home town.

MARKETING firm the If Agency has been named as the ‘Below the Line Agency of the Year’ in The Drum magazine’s New Year’s Honours List.
The list acknowledges creative agencies and businesses outside London on their campaign work and new business wins over the previous twelve months.
The If agency scooped the award as a result of its ongoing work with clients including Matalan and HSBC as well as new business wins with the likes of William Hill, Kellogg’s and Beaverbrooks.
