Appointments: DWF promotes pair to partner; moves at RSM Tenon

LAW firm DWF has promoted Julie Simms and James Driver as partners in its North West real estate teams.
Mr Driver works in Manchester, having joined DWF from Halliwells in 2008, while Julie Simms works on the Liverpool office, and has been with the firm for seven years.
National head of DWF’s real estate team Nic Crocker said: “Both promotions are richly deserved and come against the backdrop of increased revenue and a growing headcount on the real estate team, no mean feat in a challenging climate.
“These and other recent promotions show that DWF continues to attract and retain the brightest and best legal talent in the North. Having the right people in place will be critical in helping us to achieve our vision of becoming a top 30 UK firm and the natural alternative to the major national firms in the North.”
