Network in aid of MAG

INSPIRATIONAL figures in commerce and sport will share the secrets of their success at a networking event on Thursday February 10.

MAG-net Business Matters, at the Living Room on Deansgate, will see a panel of experts explain their performance techniques while supporting Manchester’s Nobel Peace-Prizewinning charity Mines Advisory Group (MAG).

The panel includes John Leach, founder and chief executive of coaching firm Winning Pitch; Andy Harrison, head of performance at the English Institute of Sport North West; and Chris Allen, former chief executive and co-founder of LateRooms.com.

Coral Grainger, founder of consultancy Capital Relations, and vice chair of MAG-net, said: “We’re going to have a great evening of inspiration and insight for entrepreneurs, and for anyone who wants to become more successful in their business. I’m pleased to have some success stories in the audience too, so I’m expecting a really good Q&A and opportunity to share ideas and experiences.

“We’re suggesting a £15 donation to attend, including food and drink and a donation to MAG, so as well as an evening of great conversation and new contacts you could save lives too!”

From its city centre headquarters, MAG runs mine clearance projects in 17 different of the world’s most vulnerable countries.
