North West Business Masters: Holt looks to make his mark as innovator
THE manufacturer of a new paint marking system which is being used widely by sports and athletics organisations in in the running for the North West Innovator prize at TheBusinessDesk.com’s North West Business Masters.
Tony Holt of Linemark UK has developed an environmentally-friendly, efficient system which provides long-lasting line markings.
Holt created a unique paint – a ready-to-use concentrate, needing no additional water, which rapidly became a best seller in the UK and has already won product innovation awards.
The paint, known as Impact Gold, is already being used at the home of English Rugby, Twickenham, by the RFU and by Premiership football clubs Everton and Sunderland.
His family-owned firm has also enjoyed success with international sales, and exports have grown by 275% since the product first went on sale in 2008.
