Remsol cleans up with Jeyes

A LANCASHIRE environmental services company has won a contract with international cleaning product manufacturer Jeyes.
Remsol, based at Penwortham near Preston, is working on a a new emergency response plan for Jeyes’ chemical processing plant at Thetford, Norfolk, to assist compliance with legislation.
One of the chemicals used in the manufacturing process has been reclassified and is now covered by the Control of Major Accident Hazards regulations (COMAH).
The plan undertaken by Remsol will provide the site’s employees with step-by-step instructions detailing what to do in the event of a major fire, explosion or chemical spill.
