Appointments: Three new hires for CLB Coopers; Bridgford joins Eversheds

NORTH West accountancy firm CLB Coopers has announced three new hires in its Manchester office.
The firm, which also has based in Bolton and Lancaster, has appointed Nick Grindod as a senior in its business services team, Ben Cruse has joined the tax team and Kyle Stewart the audit unit.
Managing partner David Travis said the Manchester hires followed additions to tax, payroll and audit departments in the offices.
He said: “The new members of our team across our three offices further emphasises the firm’s continuing growth and supports the success of our strategy to grow by adding real value to our clients.
“Our new Manchester office location ensures that we can accommodate our growth and we anticipate further announcements of senior appointments in the coming months.”

COMMERCIAL lawyer Tom Bridgford has joined Eversheds as a partner and head of its Manchester commercial team.
Mr Bridgford, an expert in IP, has moved from the Manchester office of newly-merged Squire Sanders Hammonds.
He said: “I am extremely pleased to be joining Eversheds. The firm has an excellent commercial offering and provides a first rate service both locally and internationally. I look forward to working with the team in expanding and diversifying the practice.”
