Shoosmiths launches real estate offer
LAW firm Shoosmiths is to launch a real estate offer from its Spinningfields office in Manchester.
The team will be headed by property partner Vaqas Farooq, who is relocating from the firm’s Birmingham office.
Farooq, who is originally from Bolton, specialises in real estate with a focus on developers and investors.
He said: “This is an important step in our Real Estate Practice Group strategy, and of course accelerates the aim of making our fast-growing Manchester office a full service one.
“I want to quickly develop a leading real estate team in the North West, serving existing clients and contacts, while at the same time developing new opportunities in the region.”
Partner and head of office Harold Brako said: “There was already plenty of momentum behind our growth here in Manchester, but this move ratchets things up considerably.”
