New Liverpool-Estonia route begins

LOW-frills airline easyJet has begun operate its new thrice-weekly service between Liverpool and the Estonian capital of Tallinn, which is this year’s European Capital of Culture.
Ali Gayward, UK commercial manager at easyJet, said: “Tallinn is a rising alternative city break destination as it beautifully brings the city’s medieval history together with its modern art galleries, stylish cafés and chic restaurants.
“easyJet now offers a total of 32 routes from Liverpool John Lennon Airport.”
The Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Cllr Hazel Williams, said: “We in Liverpool are delighted that this route opens up a direct connection between two European Capitals of Culture.
“We hope people from both cities will take the opportunity to visit Liverpool and Tallinn to see the way both of these fantastic cities have benefited from European Capital of Culture status.”
