Pannone chief pledges corporate investment

PANNONE managing partner Emma Holt said last night the law firm was committed to “excellence and energy in everything we do”, and hinted that some significant news was in the pipleline regarding its corporate offering.

Addressing around 300 guests  at a reception at Manchester Art Gallery to celebrate the firm’s rebrand,  Ms Holt said the broad range of services the Deansgate firm offers – from corporate to family and human rights is a strength and “makes us special and sets us apart from other legal offerings.”

Addressing head-on insinuations in the legal press that Pannone is not fully-committed to commercial practice she said: “One thing I can say – particularly to the corporates present  – you’ll be seeing and hearing a lot more about Pannone.”

Ms Holt, pictured, a former personal injury partner, took on the leadership of the firm last year and has since led a major reorganisation. emmaholt

She said the relaunch had taken place because: “We felt our branding hadn’t kept up with the commercial and legal ability, aspirations, energy and excellence in our business.”

The relaunch she said was a landmark commercial and emotional moment” for both herself and everyone at the firm.

“It speaks of our ambitions and aspirations for positioning our brand in a fast-changing market, full of exciting and new opportunities.”

The event was also addressed by retired senior partner Rodger Pannone, who in a moment of mock seriousness, declared he was “in love” with Ms Holt.
