Deal continues Willowbrook’s expansion
LANCASHIRE home care provider Willowbrook has bought Darwen-based operator Caring Hands 2 You.
The Oswaldtwistle-based firm has taken on Caring Hand’s 16-strong workforce and responsibility for its customers.
The value of the deal – Willowbrook’s third – was not disclosed. Caring Hands was managed and controlled by Accrington-based Julie Ann Scales. Documents at Companies House show other shareholders were Curtis Dunbar and Sonoli Properties.
Willowbrook was established by Elaine Brady in 2000 and now has more than 200 staff providing personalised care to the elderly and people with physical and mental disabilities across Hyndburn, the Ribble Valley, Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale and Fylde and Wyre,
She said: “The team at Caring Hands 2 You are well-suited to Willowbrook as they follow the same ethos of offering enough support so customers retain their confidence and zest for life, whilst also encouraging them to take as much control of themselves as possible.”
Willowbrook was advised by Ribchester-based Whitewater Corporate Finance and Blackburn’s Taylors Solicitors.
