Sales growth continues for Brammer

INDUSTRIAL supplies firm Brammer has continued to see strong sales growth after securing a string of lucrative new contracts.

The Wythenshawe-based company, which supplies products to firms at 300 locations in 15 different countries, said it had won six pan-European accounts worth £53m and three UK contracts with a value of £14m over the next three years.

“We are pleased to report that the sales trends outlined in our interim management statement of May 17 have continued. Both key account growth and base business growth remain strong and at similar levels to those mentioned on May 17,” said the company.

In May Brammer reported that sales and profits in the first four months of 2011 were ahead of expectations, buoyed by improving market conditions and gains in market share.

Today the firm is holding an investor seminar at its UK National Distribution Centre in Wolverhampton. Chief executive Ian Fraser and members of senior management will make a series of presentations which will also be available on the firm’s website.
