First Legal in administration

A BUSINESS that specialised in providing case information for solicitors handling personal injury claims has gone into administration.
Administrators from the accountancy firm Tenon were appointed to Preston-based First Legal Solutions on November 24 after the business had already stopped trading.
Joint administrator Jeremy Woodside said: “The employees of First Legal Solutions had been made redundant before we were appointed. Tenon is currently evaluating the company assets.”
First Legal sought to profit from the growing personal injury market by providing solicitors with cases as well as legal documentation. Tenon did not say why the business had become insolvent just six months after being rebranded when it changed its name from Stirling Legal Services.
First Legal was led by managing director Steve Keohane and chairman Gary Rimmer.
