A NORTH West company which supplies temporary toilet facilities to the organisers of pop festivals is investing in new equipment.
St Helens-based The Universal Group has secured a six-figure sum from Barclays Corporate to buy a new tanker to dispose of waste water.
Universal comprises three businesses – Universal Tanker Services, Universal Service Loos) and Eventloos.com.
UTS specialises in emptying and servicing domestic and commercial septic tanks, and the delivery of non potable water. Eventloos.com supply toilets to outdoor events and USL supplies toilets to construction sites.
As well as providing a six-figure sum last year to fund four new executive portable loos, Barclays Corporate has provided a further six figure sum in asset finance to purchase a new tanker to meet the increasing level of demand from customers.
The head office is based in St Helens, Merseyside with additional depots located close to the motorway network in Doncaster, Mansfield and Middlesbrough.
Steven White, relationship director at Barclays Corporate in Manchester and Sarah Pickering of Barclays Asset Finance provided the funding to the family-owned company.
Mr White said: “A key strength has been their ability to diversify the businesses into new markets which is delivering turnover and profit growth and we look forward to helping the company further expand and grow.”
