Recruitment firm moves into new office to house growing team

Liverpool-based recruitment consultancy Dobson Welch is expanding its team and has moved to larger premises.

The business, which was launched in 2015 by director Claire Welch, provides a full range of recruitment services to businesses in the private sector.

She previously ran the business from home before taking an office at the Women’s Organisation where the firm has now moved into a larger space to accommodate the growing team.

As well as the director the team now includes two recruitment consultants one of who is based in London, marketing support and an administrator.

Welch said: “Since setting up we’ve won several new clients, particularly in the financial services, telecoms and manufacturing sectors and we are ahead of our business plan.

“We’re getting lots of repeat business because we offer a thorough, hands-on service where candidates are properly screened and matched for the job. We don’t just look at skills and qualifications but also ensure that personality-wise they are a good fit for the business which means we get very high retention rates.

“The aim now is to take on more recruitment staff and grow other areas of the business particularly in the legal and PR/marketing sectors.

“We’ve built a good team and I am looking to take on more consultants this year to help us grow into new areas.”
