The beloved fairy-tale and award-winning movie tells the story of Victoria Page, who lives to dance, but is trapped between the two men who inspire her passion the most. Hacienda Classical at Castlefield Bowl
Hacienda Classical return to Castlefield Bowl this weekend. The show, which sees the DJ’s who shaped The Hacienda’s sound in the 1980s and early 90s, take to the stage on Saturday night as part of the Sounds Of The City series. Alongside Manchester Camerata, the city’s experimental orchestra, the show will feature a new soundtrack with lots of nostalgia to enjoy. Find out more here.
Wirral Vintage Fair
Pillbox Vintage are bringing their vintage fair and fashion show to Birkenhead this weekend. Visitors can expect to find a wide range of stalls embracing all things vintage, from clothing, homewares, vinyl and jewellery. CAMRA Beer Festival
The Central Manchester branch of CAMRA are celebrating the final weekend of Manchester’s Beer Week this weekend with its second beer festival. The event is set to feature quality beer from across the UK. Beer will be offered from both cask and KeyKeg and will also feature tastes from smaller breweries. New Order are set to take to the stage at Manchester’s iconic Old Granada Studios this weekend. Working in collaboration with visual artist Liam Gillick, the band will be deconstructing, rethinking and rebuilding their material from throughout their career.
