32,000 sq ft trade park launches in Liverpool

Mill Lane Trade Park

A 32,000 sq ft trade park has launched in Liverpool with Screwfix as anchor tenant.

Caddick Construction has opened Mill Lane Trade Park, which was purpose-built for tenants relocating from Binns Lane Industrial Estate.

The park, developed by The Derwent Group, houses 17 units with five still to let.

Andrew Murray, managing director at Warrington-based Caddick Construction, said: “It’s a very exciting time for this part of Liverpool with projects like this trade park transforming the local area.

“The provision of Mill Lane Trade Park means that local businesses affected by ongoing work at Liverpool Shopping Park are now able to take advantage of brand new, larger facilities, but can still stay in the local area to service their hard-earned customer base and enjoy the benefits of the Edge Lane regeneration.”

David Lyons, group chief executive of The Derwent Group, added: “From the outset we were keen to make sure that Binns Roads Industrial Estate businesses, many of which have been established in Liverpool for many years, could stay local. Mill Lane Trade Park allows us to fulfil our promise to those businesses and sees them relocated to brand new, purpose built premises.”
