Race for Life
Get your running shoes on and heat to Heaton Park this weekend for Race for Life. The event, that brings hundreds of women together to raise money for life-saving research, is a great day out, with both a 5k and a 10k available to get involved with. Best thing? Celebrate Bold Street
Head to Liverpool’s Bold Street, that has become renowned for its huge choice of independent retailers, on Sunday. The event will see a street takeover of local businesses, including arts and craft stalls, a farmers market, pop-up street food traders and live entertainment. The event, which is taking place from 10am until 6pm, is the final celebration of the week’s Independents’ Week. Find out more here.

Jurassic Kingdom
Jurassic Kingdom: Where Dinosaurs Come to Life begins in Philips Park in Manchester this weekend, where it will be until July 23. Take the kids along to enjoy over 30 installations of lifelike dinosaurs whilst exploring gardens and parklands. There will also be the chance to dig up dinosaur bones and get involved in a virtual reality activity that will transport you back to the Jurassic period. Find out more here.

Liverpool Arab Arts Festival
Liverpool Arab Arts Festival: The Space Between Us takes place at venues across the city this weekend. From food trails and storytelling sessions to film screenings and art exhibitions, there is plenty for everyone to get involved in. Manchester to Blackpool Bike Ride
Join Team Christie on Sunday to take part in the annual Manchester to Blackpool bike ride. The route is an impressive 60 miles from the Imperial War Museum North, before finishing on Blackpool’s South Promenade. It is the perfect way to explore the Lancashire countryside.
