Sim Trava launching new Costa in Cheshire

60-60A Sandbach Road, Alsager

Franchisee Sim Trava is opening a new Costa coffee outlet in the Cheshire town of Alsager.

It has taken a 10-year lease on the 2,250sq ft unit at a rent of £32,000 per annum. The Sim Trava franchise business was founded in 2004 and operates more than 30 Costa coffee stores across the North.

Simon Vardy, managing director, Sim Trava, said: “As a Cheshire based, family-owned business we have been trying to find a site in Alsager for many years. We have managed to recruit a great local team to run the store and we can’t wait to open in early September to bring our latest Costa to the Alsager community.”

The premises were recently acquired by Buzz Communications as part of its acquisition of a parade of four retail shops with flat above at 56 – 60A Sandbach Road, which was added to its growing property portfolio managed by Regional Property Solutions.

Charles Murray, managing director, Regional Property Solutions, said: “Over the last few months we have taken the surrender of two of the shop units and converted it into one large one to tap into the demand in this expanding south Cheshire town. It has proved a successful strategy with Sim Trava taking the unit.”

This letting together with that of the first floor two bedroom flat which has been let separately has created an uplift in rental of £38,000 plus per annum since the investment was purchased.

Regional Property Solutions and Legat Owen acted jointly in the letting and Emanuel Oliver for Sim Trava.
