Launch of new hi-tech connectivity for landlords and tenants

Manchester-based internet provider Telecom has launched a new connectivity tool for occupiers and landlords which it claims eliminates disruptions and poor service which currently occur.

Telecom says Node is a “sophisticated and highly intuitive system” providing a future proofed digital infrastructure.

It means buildings can accommodate any broadband speed while giving tenants the ability to choose their own provider, getting connected in hours, not weeks.

Co-founder of Node Doug Ward said: “Proptech is gaining increasing attention with the rise of Artificial Intelligence and the increasing need for fast broadband.

“On the other hand, landlords are becoming aware of the disruptions that new technologies can cause to the workplace.

“Yet, buildings are not ready for these fast-changing requirements, with around 90% of today’s buildings designed before the world wide web was even invented.

“Connectivity is the third most important factor occupiers consider when choosing a new work space, and yet most buildings aren’t ready to cater to current needs.

“Node is the first product of its kind and unlike anything we have ever seen before. We spent a lot of time researching the concept of Node, working closely with landlords in the UK and Silicon Valley in order to create the last internet connection your building will ever need, hassle free.”
