Tangerine, the integrated communications consultancy, has strengthened its senior team in anticipation of continued growth.

The consultancy, which turned 15 years old this year, has promoted two senior consultants – Lisa Hale to associate director and Laura Weightman to head of social comms – and welcomed two account directors, Emma Sivakumaran and Jen Hallam, to its leadership team.

The 12-strong leadership team is responsible for the day-to-day running of the consultancy, including growth, supporting clients and developing the agency’s team.

“The leadership team ensures we keep pushing ourselves and our clients forward in line with our ‘bolder, braver, better’ philosophy,” said Sandy Lindsay.

The new additions to the team will work alongside our longstanding members to support each other and the agency as we enter this exciting new phase of the business.”

The Leathes Head Hotel in the heart of Borrowdale Valley near Keswick in the Lake District has announced the appointment of Laura Dadulak as new hotel manager.

Prior to starting her new role Dadulak worked as assistant manager at Holbeck Ghyll between Ambleside and Windermere.

Dadulak, originally from Latvia, lived in the UK for 15 years and has experience working in luxury hotels.

She is keen to build on The Leathes Head Hotles existing reputation with plans to refurbish the dining room and expand the food and drink provision, whist introducing weddings as part of their exclusive use offering and utilise the hotel’s three acres of private grounds.
Dadulak said: “I was instantly attracted to The Leathes Head Hotel because of its location and straight away I felt like it would be the most perfect place to work and live.

“I think 2018 is going to be a very exciting time for the hotel.”

Retail display installation expert CJ Retail Solutions has announced the appointment of Colin Chapman as its new managing director.

In his new position at the Runcorn-based agency,Chapman will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategic growth of the business as it looks to expand its offering and grow the business globally.

As a seasoned retail professional, Chapman brings with him a wealth of business experience, and moves to his new role from operations director at – a position he’s held for the past four-and-a-half years.

Chapman has also worked for some of the world’s major retail businesses including Asda, Walmart Canada, Homebase and Morrisons.

His appointment comes after another successful year of growth that saw CJ Retail Solutions strengthen its relationships with existing clients including Boots and Samsung.

Chapman said: “I’m passionate about driving CJ Retail Solutions forward during this exciting period of growth. I’m looking forward to helping shape the business by working together with the sales and operations teams, as we look to strengthen our position as market leaders.

Factory, a studio that produces high-end animated series specialising in mixed-media, stop frame, puppets and digital production, from its base in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, has appointed Zoë Bamsey to the newly-created role of chief content officer.

She joins the company from Coolabi Group where she was director of production and development with the full responsibility for sales, production, funding and development of all programming including preschool series Poppy Cat, the brand-new series of The Clangers and more recently, Scream Street.

Prior to Coolabi, Bamsey held a variety of pivotal roles at the Walt Disney Company, including executive director of programming and director of worldwide programming strategy helping to establish the channels business globally and launching their portfolio of brand-defining hit programmes.

Manchester-based Real Estate Investment Partnerships has unveiled announce Simon Gallanders as a director and shareholder.

Since joining Real Estate Group in 2010 as development surveyor, Gallanders has developed vast experience in the construction and property development industry, despite being just 32.

Gallanders now deals with the full development process including finding and securing sites, delivery and disposal.

He started his career with Modus Properties in 2004, as part of the development team working on projects such as the £25m development of Byron Place Shopping Centre in Seaham as well as the £50m, 160,000sq ft redevelopment of the Green Acres Shopping Centre in Oldham.

He has a well-rounded and practical experience of working on a number of schemes resulting in an excellent understanding of the development process and what is required in order to ensure successful delivery of projects.
