£3m revamp completes at 20 Chapel Street

The 12th floor refurbishment of Liverpool office development 20 Chapel Street, has reached practical completion, marking the end of a £3m programme of internal works.

This floor was previously two separate office suites, but now provides a future occupier with a single 7,917sq ft floorplate with unrivalled panoramic views of the city and waterfront.

Commercial property specialist Canmoor has undertaken a rolling programme of works to the 15 story, grade A building over the last 15 months, to vacant floors, communal areas and WCs as well as a complete transformation of the ground floor reception area to include a new café space, occupied by Liverpool-based independent coffee experts, Bean Coffee.

Sam Walker, director at Canmoor, said: “Liverpool’s shortage of grade A office space has been well documented, and this was why we felt investing in 20 Chapel Street, which holds such a prominent position within the city’s commercial district, was so important.

“Now that the reception and café installation is complete, the refurbished 12th floor has to be the best available Grade A office space in the city. Feedback from tenants on the upgrade works has been very positive and has generated increased interest in the remaining 25,000 sq ft of available space.”

Worthington Owen and CBRE are joint agents on 20 Chapel Street.
