Weekender: Redrock welcomes tasty addition to line-up

Twenty-five jobs have been created with the opening of Berretto Lounge at Redrock Stockport.

Overlooking the public square that links Redrock with Prince’s Street, Berretto Lounge’s varied menu includes salads and burgers and all day brunches.

Redrock, which opened 11 weeks ago and includes a 10-screen The Light Cinema, says its visitor and trading figures are “well ahead” of predictions.

Cllr Kate Butler, Stockport Council’s cabinet member for economy and regeneration, said: “It’s great to be able to welcome Berretto Lounge to Stockport, and I’m sure that they are going to prove very popular at Redrock.  I’m delighted that their opening has created so many new jobs for local people and want to wish Berretto Lounge and each of their staff the very best for the future.”

Jenny Arnot, operations manager, The Lounges, added: “The team are looking forward to becoming part of the community and will support local groups and initiatives wherever possible.”
