CBRE to move 110 staff to One St Peter’s Square

One St Peter’s Square

The Manchester office of commercial real estate services and investment firm CBRE has confirmed the relocation of its 110 staff to new offices at flagship office development, One St Peter’s Square, following a record year for the North West business.

CBRE is moving from the Belvedere office building on Booth Street, increasing its office space by 30% to 11,309 sq ft on the 10th floor of the building, in the heart of Manchester’s new civic and business quarter.

The office agency team at CBRE negotiated a 15-year lease.

CBRE says the new office space has been designed to support modern working principals with a clear focus on both the staff and client experience.

Client meeting rooms will be positioned overlooking one of the city’s most iconic squares, with views of the Midland Hotel, Manchester Central Library and the Town Hall extension.

CBRE’s building consultancy team will manage the fit-out process and has appointed TP Bennett as Architect and Overbury as contractor following a competitive design competition. CBRE is set to take occupation of its new offices in May 2018.

John Ogden, executive director and managing director of CBRE’s North West Business, said:
“The relocation of our Manchester office to One St Peter’s Square follows on from another record year for our North West business and, in addition to reflecting our continued growth, is an investment into our valued staff and clients.

“This is a prestigious address in the heart of Manchester’s historic business district and we are delighted to confirm our move.”

Savills acted on behalf of the landlord.
