Housebuilder Redrow announces almost 100 homes for Oldham

Plans for some of the new Redrow homes

Redrow is to open a sales office in Chadderton next month ahead of starting work on 97 three- and four-bedroom homes as part of its Fox Meadows development.

The houses will be from the award-winning Heritage Collection by Redrow, which is based in Ewloe, near Chester.

Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), said: “Fox Meadows is in a perfect location – not least for families.

“It is close to outstanding schools and within easy reach of all the shopping and leisure amenities of Oldham town centre, as well as being just seven miles from Manchester and all that a big city has to offer.”

She said: “Add to that the stunning scenery of the Pennines and the Peak District national park just a few miles away, and this is an ideal place to live and enjoy family life – so we’re anticipating a lot of interest when Fox Meadows is launched.”

Homes will initially be sold from a sales office situated off Foxdenton Lane.

Fully-furnished show homes are set to open in September.

Four-bedroom detached home styles will be the first to be released, with prices expected to be from £268,995.

Fox Meadows is part of a larger development scheme which will see up to 500 brand-new homes built in Chadderton.

Like previous successful Redrow developments in the area, the popular Meadow View in Oldham and Spinners Mews in Chadderton, it boasts excellent transport connections.

Junction 21 of the M60 Manchester Orbita is just a few minutes’ drive away, while trains from nearby Moston Station connect to Manchester Victoria in just nine minutes, and Rochdale in the other direction in under quarter of an hour.
