90,000 sq ft let at Rochdale scheme

A kitchen contractor and a digital security provider have relocated to Plot K in Rochdale leaving one unit available at the estate.

Joint agents of JLL, P3 and Colliers have let 90,000 sq ft across two units on behalf of landlord Ropemaker Properties.

Kitchen contractor Nobilia has taken a 55,075 sq ft unit at the scheme, while digital security provider Gemalto has agreed a deal on a 35,086 sq ft building.

Both tenants have signed at £6.50 per sq ft on 20 and 12 year leases.

Nobilia and Gemalto join other nearby occupiers including JD Sports, EON and household textile supplier Cleland McIver Lifestyle.

Rob Kos, senior surveyor at JLL, said: “It has been a great success agreeing two deals on strong lease terms and at the quoting rent proving that schemes like Plot K, which have quality space and a strong location, are able to capitalise on the high demand in the region.”
