Lawnhurst Trading Estate appeals to Chilli Banana

Lawnhurst Trading Estate

The industrial team at property advisor JLL has let the final unit at Lawnhurst Trading Estate to Thai restaurant chain Chilli Banana on behalf of Logicor.

The firm, which has five restaurants across the North West, has taken a 5,481 sq ft unit on a five-year lease at the scheme on Bird Hall Lane, Cheadle.

The deal follows two lettings by JLL at Lawnhurst in 2017 to medical products manufacturer Baxter Healthcare, and to T&M Property Investments, totaling 18,519 sq ft.

Lawnhurst Trading Estate, which comprises 200,000 sq ft of accommodation across 16 units, was acquired by Logicor in 2016 and is now fully let.

Rob Kos, senior surveyor at JLL, said: “Chilli Banana has secured itself a support base that sits within easy access to its Wilmslow, Didsbury, Liverpool, Bramhall and Macclesfield restaurants.

“Many Greater Manchester schemes like Lawnhurst Industrial Estate are becoming fully occupied after their respective landlords have invested in refurbishing stock. It indicates a healthy demand for quality industrial space in the region.”

Logicor was represented by JLL and Sanderson Weatherall.
