Licensed textiles specialist Dreamtex has continued its steady expansion programme with the acquisition of the new action-packed pre-school series ‘Super Wings’.

The Super Wings Home Textile Collection will comprise poly-cotton bedlinen, printed towels, shaped cushions and fleece blankets, as well as a range of coordinating wall décor.

Product will be available from November.

Andrew Downie, commercial director at Manchester-based Dreamtex, said: “Super Wings is an exciting new series in the edutainment genre and we believe there is a fantastic opportunity in the market for this new vehicle-based franchise.

“The 3D CGI animation features a fun loving jet plane named Jett who delivers packages to children around world with his friends the Super Wings.

“It’s the perfect character for us to create bright and colourful designs for preschoolers.”

The deal was agreed with Rockpool Licensing’s Vickie O’Malley on a recent visit to Dreamtex where she officially opened their brand new showroom.

She said: “We’re so proud to have Dreamtex on board for Super Wings.

“They’ve already developed some really fun designs, tapping into our strong themes of world travel. They’ll look fabulous in Dreamtex’s new showroom.”
