Housebuilder takes up residence at Birchwood Park

Patrizia, the asset manager of Birchwood Park, Warrington, has welcomed residential developer Eccleston Homes to Newton House.

Eccleston Homes specialise in building traditional looking homes with all the innovative and contemporary features you would expect from a modern household.

Relocating from another location in the Birchwood area, the North West house builder joins a thriving community of start-ups and SMEs at Newton House, which has been designed to support growing businesses.

Eccleston Homes managing director, Kevin Marren, said: “Following a period of sustained growth and the subsequent expansion of our team, we knew it was time to move to an office location that could better support us on our growth journey.

“Birchwood Park felt like a natural fit for our business with the vast range of amenities on offer and its unique working environment.

“We’re looking forward to seeing the entire team make use of the facilities on-site.”

Martin O’Rourke, commercial director at Birchwood Park, said: “We’re firm believers that people should expect more from their workplace, so it is especially encouraging to hear occupiers citing the on-park offering in their reasons for joining us.

“While employee wellbeing has always been at the heart of the park, 2018 has seen us introduce a whole host of new initiatives including our bi-annual Wellbeing Week proving extremely popular. I’m confident the Eccleston Homes staff will also be able to take full advantage of these opportunities on the park.”

The announcement follows a recent boom in Birchwood Park’s small suite lettings, welcoming 16 new businesses since the turn of the year. In response to the high demand, the park is currently in the process of creating three additional small office suites at Chadwick House.

In 2018, Birchwood Park is celebrating 20 years of growth.

Since 1998 the park has almost tripled in size, providing 1.1 million sq ft of office and warehouse space and accommodating more than 165 businesses.
