Property company Glenbrook has been appointed by Birkenhead-based Park Group to advise on its estate strategy, which will see the company take 30,000 sq ft of office space in Liverpool city centre, while retaining its existing site in Birkenhead.

Park Group, a provider of Christmas hampers and multi-retailer redemption products to corporate and consumer markets, currently operates from Valley Road Industrial Estate in Birkenhead.

In total, the scheme comprises 235,000 sq ft offices and warehouse space over several buildings.

Manchester-based Glenbrook has been instructed to provide strategic multi-disciplinary advice to optimise the use of Park Group’scurrent estate in Birkenhead, and identify a new office base for the company in Liverpool.

Park chief executive, Ian O’Doherty, said: “The decision to appoint Glenbrook is an important step in our growth and expansion.

“We want to optimise our Birkenhead site, whilst expanding parts of our business into Liverpool in order to attract and retain the best possible talent to support our vision for the company.

“Glenbrook’s knowledge and experience in the Merseyside property market was an important factor in our decision, and we look forward to working with them as our business enters this next phase of growth.”

Chris Lloyd, investment director at Glenbrook, said: “This is an excellent opportunity to work with a high-profile North West business and to support their bold ambitions and further growth.

“Expanding its foothold into Liverpool means Park Group will be close to its existing site, yet has a solid presence in the city which is already home to the likes of Santander and Shop Direct and is, therefore, an excellent location in which to attract and retain employees.”
