£40m development in Manchester ready to welcome first residents

A new £40m development in the Castlefield area of Manchester has been completed.

Property development and investment company Glenbrook has reached practical completion at The Trilogy.

The 232 apartment build to rent scheme is on Ellesmere Street on the outskirts of the city centre.

Occupying a prominent position on Chester Road, The Trilogy comprises 220,000 sq ft of high quality one, two and three-bedroom apartments across three buildings.

The development, which was forward funded by The Moorfield Group includes a series of features specifically for the rental market such as pet friendly apartments, a residents’ lounge overlooking private internal gardens, gym, a large secure cycle hub and concierge facilities.

Glenbrook is one of the Build To Rent sectors most active developers with over 1,000 apartments under construction and a similar number due to start on site this year.

Schemes are being delivered in Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham with additional sites being acquired in major cities around the UK.

The Trilogy project team includes GRAHAM Construction, AEW Architects, cost and project consultancy Abacus, Shepherd Gilmore Engineers and Beechfield.
