Popular eatery continues expansion with new Liverpool site

A new vegan eatery in Liverpool, Go Falafel, has opened at 6 Richmond Street.

The takeaway, which opened to the public this Monday (June 17) prides itself on offering a 100% vegan menu including falafel wraps, salads, fresh juices and smoothies.

The business has taken a 15-year lease at the prime location in the city centre with commercial agents, Hitchcock Wright & Partners acting on behalf of the landlord, and Mason Owen acting on behalf of the tenant.

The site is spread across a 470 sq ft ground floor and a 425 sq ft basement. It has been completely transformed and turned into a modern space reflecting the fresh and vibrant personality of the brand.

The chain already has three locations in Manchester and one in Preston.

Rajab Shamallakh, director of Go Falafel, said: “We are thrilled to have opened our new concept of fast food in the city of Liverpool. We first opened in Manchester in 2012 and we are currently planning to expand in every city in the UK.

“These days, the public is a lot more health conscious and switched-on in terms of nutrition, and so our varied vegan menu will certainly meet the needs of people who lead a healthy or plant-based lifestyle.

“We look forward to growing our family of loyal customers here in Liverpool.”

Matt Kerrigan, partner at Hitchcock Wright & Partners, said: “This is a fantastic site for a new vegan eatery.

“The location of the building and surrounding area benefits from high footfall from tourists, shoppers and businesses.

“The 15-year lease will ensure that Go Falafel becomes a recognised brand in the city and we wish them every success as they continue to expand in other locations.”
