Landmark office building given local Definition

How M33 will look after refurbishment

A landmark office building in Sale has been given an exciting rebrand courtesy of the team at Definition Consulting.

Jackson House, which is one of the most prominent buildings in Sale, is currently undergoing a significant programme of improvement works, and will be rebranded to M33.

M33 will become one of the premier business destinations in South Manchester.

The redevelopment will include a new external terrace, café/deli, atrium-style seating, meeting rooms for hire, cycle spa and electric car charging facility, internal refurbishment and a fresh new look exterior with a striking new glazing scheme and three-feature ‘pop out’ windows.

New studios for small and growing businesses will be delivered alongside traditional corporate space.

Definition Consulting, which is a customer based within Jackson House, has been awarded a new contract by property company CEG to undertake the brand exercise, which includes developing the new brand identity, consisting of the brand name, a logo and brand guidelines to ensure the brand is executed to its full potential.

The team at Definition Consulting will be working with CEG going forward on developing a marketing communications strategy for M33, including events and social media.

Kathryn Bistacchi, director at Definition Consulting, said: “It’s been a real case of a local collaboration.

“The majority of the Definition team live locally, and we were passionate from a very early stage that the local area should form a strong part of the brand. Jackson House is in an unrivalled location – having all the benefits of being based outside the city centre yet with the amenities of Sale town centre on its doorstep. The new branding really reflects this, presenting the building as an exciting place for businesses to be.”

Rob Morton, investment manager at CEG, said: “We like to keep things local where we can and the team at Definition clearly showed they were able to develop something exciting for us.

“We’re delighted with the M33 name, new look and ethos. The multimillion-pound refurbishment will provide exactly what business customers need to attract and retain staff, providing a productive and a fresh contemporary environment.

“This, along with the new brand, will position us well, not only in this exciting re-launch phase, but also for many years to come.”

Providing more than 100,000 sq ft of Grade A office accommodation, Jackson House also boasts one of the largest footplates in South Manchester. Tenants at the building include IBM, Sesame Banking Group, Ralli Solicitors, Reassured, AA Projects as well as Definition Consulting.

The rebrand to M33 is part of a wider revamp of the former Jackson House – with CEG having spent £2.8m on internal renovations over the past 12 months with further investment planned. The rebrand of the building to M33 will be officially unveiled this Autumn/Winter.
