Work completed on latest phase of Liverpool business park

Work has almost completed on the latest phase of a business park in Liverpool.

Developer St Modwen has reached practical completion on the latest phase of  Stonebridge Business Park

As part of the third phase, a further 52,000 sq ft of speculative development has been delivered.

Extending over 30-acres, the park is on the East Lancashire Road (A580) in north Liverpool, one of the city’s key routes, and is close to junction 4 of the M57.

The well-established business park is already home a range of high-profile companies including DPD and UK Storage.

Earlier this year, the park also welcomed NBM Contracting and Liverpool Lancashire Properties Ltd which both signed a five-year lease.

Earlier phases of development are also complete with 15,667 sq ft delivered at Stonebridge East and a further 65,482 sq ft at Stonebridge West. 34,000 sq ft of space is currently available.

Stuart Murray, development director at S. Modwen said: “Stonebridge Business Park is a key strategic site in the north west and plays an important role in the region.

The scheme has attracted some major players in the logistics sector due to its ideal location and we’re confident that the site will continue to be of interest to high-calibre tenants who are looking for flexible, quality space.”

Mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson said: “Continuing to attract investment to the area is vital and Stonebridge Business Park is delivering much-needed business space and job opportunities. It’s great to see the latest unit complete and demonstrates that there’s a real appetite to do business here.”

Robert Tilley from Knight Frank and Jonathan Lowe from Avison Young are joint marketing agents for the entire Stonebridge scheme.

They added: “Following on from the success of the earlier phases at Stonebridge, St. Modwen continue to create accommodation that will appeal to occupiers where there is a lack of high quality industrial and logistics space of this size in the area.”
