Orion Park building sold for £2.5m

PROPERTY fund manager Highcross has sold a distribution building at its Orion Park scheme in Crewe for £2.5m.

The 36,325 sq ft cross-docked unit was pre-let to Grattan on a ten-year lease in August 2007, at a rent of £215,000 a year.

GVA Grimley and Lamont acted for Highcross in the sale to an unnamed private investor.

This latest deal follows the sale of a 150,000 sq ft warehouse unit, occupied by Bentley, at the Orion Park scheme last year.

It was one of four investment sales of 10 buildings by Highcross, the other developments were in Rugby and Kidderminster.
