Warrington office scheme sold to Your Housing
TBI & KF Thompson Ministries Trust has announced the sale of 28,000 sq ft Sankey House on Birchwood Boulevard in Warrington to Your Housing Group, for an undisclosed sum.
The deal on Sankey House was one of two large transactions to complete in Birchwood within the space of seven days, the other being Stantec’s leasehold transaction on 2 Daten Park (22,000 sq ft).
Sankey House forms part of Birchwood Point and was originally built by HBG in the mid 90’s.
Other neighbouring occupiers include MDS, Avios and New Balance.
Sankey House is a 28,377 sq ft Grade A office building located in Birchwood.
The accommodation is split over three floors and had been fully refurbished, including new M&E.
Mark Canning, director at Canning O’Neill, advised TBI & KF Thompson Ministries Trust on the sale.
He said: “Birchwood had been a little quiet for larger occupiers over the second half of the year, but at a stroke there is now a very limited supply in the area of quality larger space.”
