Muse hires Canning O’Neill for Cheadle Royal
MUSE Developments has appointed commercial property firm Canning O’Neill as joint agents with Cushman & Wakefield on Cheadle Royal, one of South Manchester’s premier business parks.
The 67-acre development has planning consent for 783,000sq ft of office and leisure space on a design and build basis and, since its inception in the early 1990s, Muse has developed approximately 635,000sq ft.
The scheme is now home to high profile office occupiers including Balfour Beatty, Jarden Corporation, Agilent Technologies, Micron, Wienerberger, Carrier Travel, Clarke Nicklin, Mansion Group, Fresh Group and Manchester Fertility.
Cheadle Royal’s offer is enhanced by the onsite leisure and nearby retail amenities, including David Lloyd, TGI Fridays, Travel Inn, John Lewis & Sainsburys, together with a DeVere Venues Conference & Events Centre.
The final two phases comprise Lakeside 4000, which can accommodate office buildings from 20,000sq ft up to 100,000sq ft, and Oakfield 4 which can provide office buildings from 6,500 sq ft to 25,000 sq ft. All buildings can be delivered to a “Grade A” specification with generous on-site car parking.

Elsewhere in South Manchester, Muse is developing the second phase of the major mixed-use Stockport Exchange scheme in the heart of the town centre, which includes a 50,000sq ft speculative office building due to complete in autumn 2016.
