Builder confident in reaping rewards of growth strategy

Pure Residential & Commercial’s current headquarters

Pure Residential & Commercial expects record growth for 2020 as investments made during 2018 and 2019 start to bear fruit.

Earlier last year Pure moved into new offices at Daresbury Park, near Warrington, which is part of its expansion plans to deliver more developments in the Cheshire and North West region.

It also has a St Asaph base covering North Wales.

Pure Homes is the private house building division side of the company.

The firm is currently working on secured land to deliver more than 750 homes across North Wales and Cheshire with sites in Denbigh, Prestatyn, St Asaph, Llanfair DC, Ruabon, Chester and Frodsham.

In addition, it also has commercial developments under way in St Asaph and Kinmel Bay, creating workplaces which will bring new employment into the area.

And it has a number of quality sites in the North West Retirement Living sector which offer exceptional growth opportunities based on projected demand and an ageing population.

Senior new appointments at Pure have been made to strengthen the management team and this will continue as the company looks to move all of its group businesses into one new 11,000 square foot head office on the eight acre company-owned site at New Vision Business Park, St Asaph.

Managing director of Pure Residential & Commercial, Chris White, said: “We are really excited entering 2020 and are in a very good position now to really progress forward with a good land bank and a construction pipeline that will deliver in excess of £160m across the business over the next few years.”

“This year will be an important one for us as we see our investments in new plant, machinery and specialist construction software that will improve building efficiencies and reduce site costs, enabling us to manage and deliver more developments than ever before.”

He added: “Brexit and skills shortages continue to be a hot topic as businesses struggle to plan against a backdrop of unprecedented uncertainty.

“Making these investments now, strengthening our diverse workforce and moving centrally under one roof in a superb new office environment supports our growth plans for the next decade and beyond. It all makes good business sense.”

He said the UK’s position regarding future relations with Europe will be clearer in March, when the world’s property sector descends on the French Riviera resort of Cannes for the annual MIPIM conference.

“By MIPIM we will know what Brexit holds in store for the UK and the development and construction sectors.

“0We’ve always managed our business with a balance of prudence, caution and optimism and the hard work over the last few years and steps that we have taken ensure we are well placed and prepared to deal with the outcomes of Brexit.

“We can deliver on the opportunities that we have in our pipeline and further into the future.”

Chris White will be joined in Cannes for MIPIM 2020 by Stuart Askey, who is responsible for land acquisition and special projects at Pure.
