Law firm Simpson Millar has moved its Liverpool team to new offices in the city’s Albert Docks.

The move into the Edwards Pavilion building is a reflection of the firm’s ambitions to raise its profile within Liverpool and across the North West.

Ian Cohen, the firm’s national head of personal injury and medical negligence, said it would also secure easier access for clients and colleagues alike.

Forming part of the firm’s strategic growth plan to build one of the leading national consumer law firms in the UK, the relocation comes 16 months after Simpson Millar established a presence in Liverpool with the acquisition of EAD Solicitors.

Ian, who is based in Liverpool, said: “This move to modern and centralised offices in the city’s beautiful and iconic Docks location forms part of our ongoing commitment to providing open, high quality legal services, delivered in an efficient and innovative way to clients across the region.

“The Albert Dock boasts great local amenities, as well as excellent proximity to major transport links which will improve accessibility for staff and clients alike.

“We are proud to be embracing a forward-thinking approach to both how and where we work – adopting a modern and flexible business structure that ensures we are best placed to respond to changes within the legal arena; opening up the law to clients as well as the evolving needs and expectations of our colleagues.

“As part of this we have invested heavily in our technology that will enable staff to operate remotely, which forms part of our ongoing commitment to promoting wellbeing and flexible working across the firm.”
