Real estate group clinches contract for second Liverpool ‘Grace’

The Port of Liverpool Building

Commercial real estate group CBRE has been selected by Amtrak Real Estate to provide property and asset management services at the Port of Liverpool Building.

The Grade II-listed building is one of the city’s Three Graces, the three iconic buildings lining Liverpool’s world-famous waterfront, and is the second to be managed by CBRE, with the other being the renowned Royal Liver Building.

CBRE will provide a full suite of property management services that will include occupier engagement, facilities management, sustainability and environmental management, as well as wider asset management and community engagement.

Rayan Saeed Alesayi, chief executive of Amtrak Real Estate, said: “The Port of Liverpool Building is an iconic asset in one of the UK’s key real estate markets.

“Following a competitive pitch process we awarded the property management services contract to CBRE, whose team displayed a keen understanding of our expectations, and our occupiers’ requirements.”

Andrew Willoughby, director for CBRE property management in the North West, said: “The award of this contract further cements the reputation of CBRE as the preferred property management services provider in Liverpool and the wider North West region.

“We look forward to providing a best in class service to Amtrak and the building’s occupiers.”

Among the Port of Liverpool Building’s occupiers is private wealth management firm Rathbone Brothers.
