Planning application submitted for high-end luxury apartments

The proposed scheme

Architectural practice Falconer Chester Hall has submitted a planning application to Wirral Borough Council for a residential development on Thurstaston Road, Heswall.

The scheme will provide 12 three-bedroom, high-end luxury apartments in a four-storey contemporary building.

The design provides a progressive approach to modern living, while maintaining the character of the site and fantastic far-reaching views to the River Dee estuary and Welsh coast beyond.

Martin Haymes, Falconer Chester Hall associate director, said: “We have consulted with the planning team over a number of months and are delighted to have submitted our design for planning permission.

“The proposed development is within a traditional landscape which influenced the material palette that we propose, including red sandstone and rosemary clay roof tiles, both indigenous local materials.

“The generous balconies provide private amenity space and views to the landscaped gardens, Dales and River Dee.”

Grosvenor Homes Heswall, said in a statement: “We have seen the potential on Thurstaston Road and the requirements of the area to provide a well-balanced, innovative, high-quality residential development.

“We have ensured that each luxury apartment is provided with two car parking spaces on-site and the new landscaping will be integrated and weaved homogenously with the retained trees and hedges.

“We are delighted to be submitting this scheme for planning approval after working with the Wirral planning team.”

Other consultants on the scheme are: Planning consultants – Zerum; Highways consultant – SCP Transport; M&E engineer – Abacus Consulting; Fire engineer – Omega Fire Engineering; Landscape architect – DEP Landscape Architects; Ecology – Rachel Hacking Ecology; Ground conditions – Clancy Consulting; Tree surveyor – Trees Solutions.
