Law firm undertakes office expansion after increasing headcount

Expansion for APJ Solicitors

Law firm APJ Solicitors has moved to a bigger site after taking on 20 new starters since April, with more hirings expected throughout the year.

The financial mis-selling specialist has relocated to bigger offices at Daresbury Business Park, near Warrington.

Prior to the coronavirus lockdown the firm had already begun its plans to expand its premises.

Having previously occupied two buildings at the park, APJ recently acquired a third base with the ability to house up to 100 employees.

The practice said it is expecting a thriving future and to continue to employ fresh talent.

Part of the expansion is the introduction of the new Private Client Services department, offering will writing and probate services.

The new department will offer expert drafting services, inheritance tax planning advice and help with the administration of a will.

Lauren Ashcroft, head of private client, said: “I am pleased to have joined the team at APJ which adopts a forward-thinking approach to the provision of legal services.”

Operations director, Denyse Goodyear, said: “Our team is hugely excited about the prospect of developing an in-house private client’s practice on the provision of wills and probate services. This will complement our core strategy and meet our clients’ ongoing needs.”
