Riverview Business Park completes, delivering three units

Riverview Business Park

Redsun Projects has completed the third and final phase of its Riverview Business Park industrial scheme in Bromborough, Wirral, with this phase delivering 114,000 sq ft over three units.

Online fashion retailer, Oh Polly, has purchased a 70,000sqft unit including a three-storey office overlooking the River Mersey and Liverpool waterfront.

The new facility will allow Oh Polly to expand its UK operations and once fully operational could employ up to 400 members of staff.

Food manufacturing business Sun Valley Peanuts has leased 30,000 sq ft, with the final 14,000 sq ft unit being sold to established investment company The District Estates Ltd.

Redsun Projects director, Craig Booton, said: “Bromborough has been a strong location for us and it is great to sign off the third and final phase of Riverview Business Park with three successful deals.

“This is the second time we’ve developed a facility for Oh Polly and we look forward to seeing their further growth over the coming years.

“We are especially proud of how well our team has coped with the challenges of COVID-19.

“We have just started on site elsewhere in Bromborough and have a further 35 acres in the pipeline across the region and so look forward to bringing forward more completed developments over the next year.”

The Liverpool-based developer acquired the seven-acre Riverview Road site from Wirral Borough Council and used a project team consisting of Portal Construction NW, C4 Projects, Muir associates and KGA to complete the project.

B8 Real Estate and Legat Owen were instructed as agents for the development.
