Key housing site with permission for up to 189 properties comes to market

A site with planning permission for up to 189 dwellings is being brought to the market in Wrexham.

The development opportunity, which extends to 15.6 acres net, secured planning permission following two appeal hearings and is now being offered for sale by informal tender.

Legat Owen is instructed by Liberty Properties to market the site and director Stephen Wade said: “Studies show that Wrexham is in desperate need of new housing.

“The Local Plan has been delayed and sites with planning permission are few and far between.

“Our clients have been working hard since the successful appeal decision back in June 2019 to clear as many of the pre-start conditions as possible so a housebuilder can start construction quickly and boost housing supply.”

He added: “The settlement of Rhosrobin, just 1.5 miles from Wrexham town centre, is ideally situated for its ease of access to Wrexham Maelor Hospital, Glyndwr University and town centre shops and services.”

Legat Owen is inviting offers by 12 noon on Friday, October 30.
