Handforth-based Beauty Works has further expanded operations on Orbit Developments’ Stanley Green Business Park.

The luxury hair extensions and accessories business has taken an additional 6,300 sq ft of warehousing space next to its existing facility which takes its total presence on the park to more than 28,000 sq ft.

The move follows a similar warehouse investment in November and will further increase speed and efficiency of products in and out the business.

Beauty Works sells product to more than 4,000 professional salons and consumers worldwide and has experienced considerable growth during lockdown, as people have invested in treats for their hair.

The company was founded in July 2010 by Penelope Cheshire and has become one of the world’s most successful beauty brands, with distributors in the US, Europe and the Middle East.

Selling styling tools and after-care products, as well as its best in class hair extensions, Beauty Works is a multiple award winner, boasting Nicole Scherzinger, Olivia Palermo, Bella Hadid and Dame Joan Collins as clients.

Dean Richards, leasing director at Orbit Developments, said: “It was perfect timing in terms of space becoming available on Stanley Green and keeps warehousing all in one place for the company which will help with continuity of operations. We wish them well.”

Stanley Green Business Park is a mixed use development in Handforth, which benefits from proximity to the A34 bypass and South Manchester areas and has attracted a variety of retail, trade, industrial and office users.

It sits close to the Handforth Dean Retail Park with M&S, Tesco, Boots, Next and Costa Coffee outlets.
