Greater Manchester firm snaps up QualitySolicitors network
The QualitySolicitors network has been sold to a Greater Manchester company.
The acquisition by Sales-based Metamorph Group, a fast-growing legal practice consolidator, takes the group’s underlying revenue to around £37m, and a total of 12 practices.
QualitySolicitors was previously part of Simplify. Founded in 2009 in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, the group built a team of in-house experts, who provide a lead generation service alongside a comprehensive range of other benefits to the network members.
The Metamorph group of companies include Linder Myers in the north west, Terry Jones in the Midlands and Verisona Law, Donnelly & Elliot, Parrott & Coales, Knight Polson and Beeton Edwards in the south.
It also includes Beaumont Legal and BPL Solicitors which provide conveyancing services nationwide, and SLC Solicitors which provides debt collection and legal services to the property market.
Metamorph Group’s executive chairman, Tony Stockdale, said: “The QualitySolicitors brand is synonymous with delivering high-quality services to the legal sector, and has a loyal membership base that values the company’s ability to help them to develop their business by drawing on a central portfolio of services and resources.
“The geographical spread of the existing QualitySolicitors network does not overlap with the locations of our Metamorph owned firms, which means that the current business operations for QualitySolicitors firms will remain unchanged.
“Our plan for the future remains to become one of the leading law groups focussed on the private client and SME market. QualitySolicitors becomes an important part of that strategy and we plan to increase its geographical coverage and membership significantly.”
Simplify CEO David Grossman, added: “This deal partners QualitySolicitors with an ideal new owner for the next stage of their evolution and will allow Simplify to sharpen our focus on continued expansion, including through further acquisitions within the property sector and to deliver against our ambition to simplify moving.”
