Jupiter Advertising has relocated to a new Manchester office, in a deal brokered by real estate consultants OBI.

The global full-service recruitment communications agency moved from Royal Mills in Ancoats to occupy a private office at Colony Jactin House.

Built in 1881 and overlooking Cutting Room Square and its independent bars, shops and restaurants, Jactin House forms part of the Colony Workspace network of flexible workspaces at four locations in Manchester, designed for and occupied by like-minded creatives, freelancers, start-ups and established businesses.

Jupiter, after spending 10 years at its previous location was seeking a more flexible solution in the Ancoats location which could easily cater for business growth in the future. This, coupled with the modern workspace and additional wellbeing facilities, made Jactin House the first choice.

Fiona Horton, managing director of Jupiter Advertising, said: “Colony Jactin House was the ideal choice for our new home because it met our requirements for modern and flexible workspace and giving us access to seminars and events.

“Our team value having the option to work in an office environment as our culture has been built on collaboration and a shared passion for delivering results for our clients … the legendary beer fridge has also moved with us, so I expect that will ensure we are quickly accepted into the community.”

Ryan White, of transactions and asset management at OBI, said: “We’re delighted to have been able to find the perfect solution for Jupiter which fits their criteria in all aspects.”

Alongside Jactin House, the Colony Workspace network also offers sites at Piccadilly, The Astley, located on the border of the Northern Quarter and Ancoats, One Silk Street and new premises at Lever Street due to open in the summer of 2022.

Alex Campbell, co-founder of Colony, said: “We are delighted to welcome such a well established and highly regarded creative agency to the Colony Community. With their unique employer branding service, I have no doubt that Jupiter will integrate beautifully into the wider ecosystem of companies based within the Colony Network, further enhancing the spirit of collaboration and cross-pollination of the businesses within.”

All the locations provide flexible contracts on office space, co-working space and meetings rooms, with occupiers enjoying serviced reception, onsite community staff, 24-7 access, ultra-fast Wi-Fi, seminars and social events and personal storage facilities.
