Acquisition opens up North West market for law firm
Top tier Legal 500 firm Beswicks Legal has completed the acquisition of Altrincham-based Maddocks Clarke Solicitors, for an undisclosed sum, giving the Stoke-on-Trent firm an important presence in the North West.
The move enables Beswicks to support existing clients in the Cheshire and Manchester areas while growing its client base in the region.
Maddocks Clarke is a well respected firm that has its roots in Altrincham and the surrounding area going back more than 30 years.
It has an outstanding reputation for residential and commercial property, family law and wills and probate. The team will continue to be based at Fairbank House, Ashley Road, Altrincham, but will integrate to work as one firm.
Nick Whitworth will lead the team, supported by lawyers across all practice areas to provide a multi-disciplinary offering in Altrincham.
Beswicks Legal said it will maintain a strong focus on the needs of its clients in the Stoke-on-Trent area, but is excited to grow into a new market with a long standing and respected firm.
