Speakers revealed for the Northern Leadership Conference
The Northern Leadership Awards are back for 2022 celebrating the best leaders in the region and for the first time will follow a half-day Northern Leadership Conference.
With both events taking place in person at The Queens Hotel in Leeds on 25 May, TheBusinessDesk.com is pleased to reveal the speakers for the conference which will share stories and advice on leading through growth, creating a culture through change and include a Leadership Surgery alongside discussions on leadership.

Sir Roger Marsh OBE DL
The conference will be opened by Sir Roger Marsh OBE DL, chair of Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership and the NP11, who will share his experience of leading both public and private sector organisations during times of change.
Attendees fo half day event will also hear from previous winners of the awards, who will share their perspective and tips including Shru Morris, CFO at Career Pass who took home the Professional Services Leader in 2019; BioGrad chief executive Dr Natalie Kenny, the recipient of the Liverpool City Region Leader 2021 award, and Harry Bliss, entrepreneur and CEO of Champion Health who won the Young Leader 2021.
The interactive event will also include thought provocations, structured discussions for everyone to participate in a Leadership Surgery and networking, as well as a Leadership Surgery, where representatives from this year’s sponsors including Mark Haywood, partner at CMS; Laura Bouttell, MD at Quarterdeck and Andy Wood, head of ethics and managing partner for Yorkshire and the North East at Grant Thornton will offer advice and answer questions.
